TRD and Modellista dress up the new 2021 Lexus IS

The 2021 Lexus IS has barely settled in on the showroom floor and TRD and Modellista are already introducing styling upgrades for the model.

However, both firms are taking a slightly different direction with their IS bodykit, with TRD giving the already sporty looking F Sport and even more aggressive look.

The kit includes a new front splitter and side skirts that can be finished in black or painted body colour, along with aerodynamic wing mirror covers, a sports muffler and a custom rear diffuser.

TRD is also offering a set of performance dampers and a selection of bracing pieces to deliver a stiffer chassis feel, topped off with a set of 20-inch forged aluminium alloy wheels.

The Modellista kit on the other hand is a little subtler, with chrome finishes in the new front splitter add-ons and chunkier extended side skirts. Around the back, there’s a custom body-coloured diffuser, a rear lip spoiler and a set of stylish alloy wheels.

As with most TRD and Modellista kits, they are unlikely to be offered in Australia through official channels.
